My Days During Lockdown

Due to an outbreak of pandemic disease, many people are dying all over the world and we are fighting together to overcome this situation. Most of the developed countries are affected by this pandemic. The death toll is increasing rapidly and Nepal cannot escape from this situation. The number of infected people is increasing rapidly in Nepal also, but thank god, no one dies until date.

I have my own story of lockdown. One day before lockdown, I escape from Kathmandu and return to my hometown Galyang, Syangja. Now I thought that decision was the best decision I have ever taken. My hometown is like a village having hills surrounded, setting on the lap of Kaligandaki, likely border of Gandaki Pradesh and state no. four.

After SLC, I had left my hometown and family for my higher studies. From that time, I have not spent this much time with my family. Spending time with family is really a mesmerizing feeling. Dad, Mom, Sister and me, small family happy family. Discussing with Dad and my dad’s older brother about business, stock market, local trends, politics and other stuff is more source of knowledge and also better than books. Dad and my dad’s older brothers sharing his experience of life with us, we cannot find this type of knowledge in any book because every person has his own story.

Now, I wanted to tell you about my work also. From 1^st day of lockdown, our office is applying technologies that make us easy to work from home. All you need is a computer, internet with decent speed and access with office computer for some resources. Now our company is becoming a techno-company. The company uses so much of technology is called techno-company word derived by me.

I also want to share my whole day routine usually, I woke up at 7:30 – 8:00 am. Our office starts at 9:00 am, between that time I complete my “Nitya karma” and breakfast. First 30 min of our office is for the general meeting in which we discuss what we are doing today and what are the work pending and then all team member muted their mic and do their respective work.

By using Trello application, we schedule our work and department heads and top officials check the workflow. We also use a web application called PandaDoc to sign the document it is amazing using new technology and different application, which helps us to increase productivity. This type of application helps us to expand remotely. Decentralization is a very powerful tool to expand independently.

After my office work ending at 2-3pm, I spend my time with family and friends. This is my daily spending.
